Our Why
The Hive Health Vision
Hive Health began because I kept meeting people who were exceptional at caring for everyone else and had no idea how to let anyone care for them. Nurses and physicians running on fumes. Parents holding it together for everybody but themselves. Teenagers who had already learned to say they were fine.
Wellness isn't the absence of a diagnosis. It's having something left over for your own life. That takes longer than symptom relief, and it's harder to measure, but it's the actual work, and it's what I built this practice to do.
Nurturing from within means we start with what's underneath instead of what's loudest.
Our Commitment: Empowering You to Thrive
What that looks like in practice:
- We go after root causes, not just the stress sitting on top.
- Your sleep, your work, your body, and your relationships all play a role in your well-being; let's talk about them.
- You don't have to heal alone. The people who matter to you are included in your plan (with your permission).
- You're the expert on you - so we take the time to listen.
- Your plan is crafted around you, personalized and evolving with you, one step at a time.
Ready to Start Nurturing from Within?
My Story
Hi, I am Bryanna Baptiste, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC.
Translation? I'm a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner who went back to school to earn my Doctorate in Nursing to do more than treat symptoms. I wanted to help change the way mental health care gets delivered.
All those letters after my name? They basically mean I've spent a long time in classrooms and clinics, learning everything I can. But the real reason I did it is simple: I'm deeply passionate about helping people heal and feel like themselves again.
I know firsthand what it feels like to pour yourself into caring for others while quietly running on empty. My own journey through burnout, depression, and anxiety taught me how easy it is to lose sight of your own well-being, especially in medicine, where the culture often rewards self-sacrifice over self-care. I also see how much our young people are carrying: academic demands, social media, identity exploration, and expectations that feel impossible to hold alone.
Hive Health was born from these truths. It's a space where caregivers, young people, and communities can step out of survival mode and into healing. Here, mental health isn't defined by the absence of illness. It's remembering that you are more than your role, your stress, or your struggles.
At Hive Health, nurturing from within means honoring your story, your strengths, and your humanity.
Because when you are cared for, you can keep growing and giving
without
losing yourself in the process.
